Hi everyone, I thought I would post early since I'm in prep/clean-up mode this weekend. I belong to an online group called Book in a Week which has a group blitz-writing week every month. My posted goal is 30 pages, so I'm putting that here, too. I'm going to do blog posts in advance for several blogs which include:
Grow Organic which documents our organic growing experiment this year
Queen of Socks in preparation for hosting a blog book tour stop
Blog Book Tours in an attempt to up the traffic over there for future tour stops
The Joy of Living Creatively, Eric Maisel's world blog in which I'm a guest blogger
I'm still working on the Blog Book Tours Guide which has now morphed into a FAQ format.
I have got to get a handle on this blog writing. I'm always behind. I can't even imagine trying to crank out an eLetter every week like some people do. But I'd like to, so this is good practice.
I have a big chore I need to focus on. Have to move all my writing files to another computer, so I'm sending them to webmail until I can download that mail onto the other computer.
And I'll report daily starting on Monday.
Exercise, who knows? Weather is due to go winter again. I sure feel it when I don't exercise. I am so sore I can hardly move in the morning. Just read a good book about exercise, health and the brain called Spark. I highly recommend it. Speaking of reading lists, mine is way too long and yours is way too short. :) I have half a dozen books to add, but I feel like a total list hog!
Also, gotta knit mice for the Kitty Knits blog book tour stop on March 14th!
What's everyone else planning?
Who won chocolate in February?? Who was closest to meeting goals?

Dani writing goals January 7-12
It's Book in a Week for me so I've posted a goal of 30 pages. For exercise, 1/2 hour of yoga every day and, weather permitting, walk three miles total. And eat raw every other day. I told hubby it's a one-bowl week and we wash our own dishes after! Hopefully, Dana and I will be working on her blog book tour and posting lots of good info on the Blog Book Tour yahoo group, right?

Dani BIW - December 3-9
Crack that whip! No rest for scofflaws. It's time to redeem ourselves from our NaNo failings. Although your 10,000+ words were much better than mine. :) I even quit counting! So I'm in for 1,000 words a day. I mean, honestly, if I can't fit that in, I'm in a sorry state. And you must, too, Sister since you're already a pro and have published books. If a proven professional and a wannabe with a lot of time on her hands can't write four pages a day, who the hell can, I ask you? Maybe we should send our daily scribblings to each other as an accountability tool, what do you think? Even if it's dreadfully embarassing. I am so cringing at the idea of your reading my drivel, you cannot imagine.Exercise (which we both seem to be good enough at) is the usual half hour a day of either walking or yoga. Blew it bigtime with the walking due to weather and even the yoga was sparse. Sigh.
Weekly Writing Goal - 20 pages:
Monday - 0
Tuesday - 2
Wednesday - 0
Thursday - 1
Friday - 3
Saturday - 9
Sunday - 3
Total - 18 pages
And this time I'm committing to actually reporting in daily. You, too? Will it help? We are SO bad at checking in!
Read the first 100 pages of a good book in the making though! :) BIK HOK TAM next week, too. What are your goals? Once again for me. Get. the. Blog. Book. Tour. Guide. finished. Jeez.

BIW:

Late in July (she said with a sigh of relief) so we can maybe organize and plan. And also so my index finger can heal. I tried to chop it off yesterday. :( I'm in a splint, but it's healing well and fast. No pain. Just hard to type.
SO HOW WAS THE RETIRMENT PARTY? ********* ONLY A FEW MORE HOURS!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! SO NOW HAVE TONS OF FUN TOMORROW. THEN WE WRITE!
I figured out the paragraph problem.
